A MESSAGE OF CONGRATULATIONS AND INSPIRATION TO THE NEW LEADERSHIP AND MEMBERS OF CDC- EUROPE
NOVEMBER 2, 2025 – To the esteemed members, officials, and sympathizers of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) in Europe, I extend my warmest and most heartfelt congratulations on the successful conclusion of your recent convention.
The peaceful and democratic election of a new corps of officials to steer the affairs of CDC-Europe for the next two years is a testament to the enduring strength and internal democracy of our great party.
It is with great pleasure that I offer my specific congratulations to Chairman Michael A. Massaquoi on his re-election, and to all those elected to positions of leadership. Your mandate is to strengthen and unite CDC Europe, and I am confident in your ability to do so.
To all those who participated in the process but fell short of securing the people’s mandate at this time, I extend a special word of appreciation. Your willingness to serve is commendable. Please remember that in the spirit of our party, we all are winners within the CDC.
As the ancient philosopher Plato wisely said, “The measure of a man is what he does with power.” I encourage you all to now channel your passion and power into unity, rallying behind your newly elected officials to achieve the ultimate objectives of CDC Europe and the Global party.
My gratitude also goes out to every CDcian and sympathizer who traveled from across the world to observe this process. Your presence demonstrates your tireless support for our collective cause. A special and profound thank you goes to Mrs. Williametta Edouarda Saydee-Tarr for her distinguished service as both our party’s Special Envoy to the convention and as the installing officer. Your role in swearing in the new leadership was pivotal in ensuring a seamless transition.
I look forward to meeting with you all in due time to celebrate this new chapter together.
Once again, congratulations to you all. The cause continues, and with this display of unity and purpose, it is clear that CDC wins!
