Sinoe County Superintendent Peter Wleh Nyensuah has resigned from his position, marking the end of a tumultuous tenure. According to information gathered by Diaspora Alert, Superintendent Nyensuah’s resignation is believed to have been prompted by President Joseph Boakai, citing poor performance and administrative failure.
Citizens in Sinoe have described the decision as overdue, following the news of his resignation. They accused Nyensuah of mismanaging Sinoe’s resources and halting the County’s development, among other problems. The former Superintendent is also alleged to have failed to prioritize the development of Sinoe County, despite the availability of funding for various projects. Some have criticized President Boakai for initially appointing an inexperienced person to lead Sinoe County, which they believe contributed to the County’s stagnation.
